Streetlytes Project
Location: London, United Kingdom
Synopsis: The Streetlytes Project’s aim and purpose is to engage and befriend the homeless by providing food, clothing, blankets and hygiene kits, through peer advocacy and street outreach. The mission of the Streetlytes Project is to reach the front-line, deeply-impacted urban areas of London and provide immediate assistance to individuals in need.

ARCHELON: Sea Turtle Protection Project
Location: Athens, Greece
Synopsis: Since 1983, The ARCHELON, Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece has implemented various conservation projects across Greece in order to protect the sea turtle population and their habitats across Greece’s iconic coastlines. With the help of both local volunteers and marine specialists, the ARCHELON: Sea Turtle Protection Project rehabilitates sick and injured turtles at the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre in Glyfada, Athens.

The Great Baikal Trail Project
Location: Irkutsk, Russia
Synopsis: The Great Baikal Trail is a local environmental project that aims to promote local sustainable development through low-impact eco-tourism. The Great Baikal Trail has carried out many trail-building projects around Lake Baikal, providing hikers with environmentally friendly trails and locals with eco-conscious alternatives to industrial development. Along with volunteers, projects concentrate on environmental education, restoration, preserving indigenous cultures and traditions, and also promoting intercultural interaction.
